2비올때 메밀육수 냉동 ㄹㅇ 갓성비 생존템 ㅇㅈ_ Underground water leak in a home's cellar is not only a nuisance, but can pose structural damage to the joists and foundation walls, can encourage wood-destroying rot fungi to grow, can serve as a breeding ground for insects and rodents, and can ruin valuable storage goods. The best way to prevent water from penetrating your cellar walls is to stop the water outside before it enters the foundation. Therefore, it pays to check the grading around the house and make sure that rainwater is directed away from the house. Another common source of water in cellars is runoff from roofs. Be sure your roof gutters and downspouts are free from debris and working properly. The discharge end of downspouts should be directed onto a splash block or piping system that carries the water well away from your foundation. If your exterior checks fail to stop water from leaking through your cellar walls, you can take some interior steps to help solve the problem. A common system of keeping a cellar dry is to apply a cement mortar mix to the interior of cellar foundation walls. The mortar coating, which is called parget, is applied with a trowel about 3 / 8- to 1 / 2-inch thick. Pargetting works best on masonry cellar walls that have been built of concrete block, cider block, stone or brick. Pargetting is more difficult to apply on poured concrete foundation walls. Pargetting works best when applied in two separate coats, using a mixture of one part portland cement, one part hydrated lime, and about five to six parts clean sand. Water is added to the ingredients to make a workable, plastic mix that can be spread easily with a trowel. Before applying parget to your cellar walls, the surface must be free from dirt, dust, grease, soot and peeling paint. Brush the walls down with a stiff wire brush to remove the debris. Moisten the masonry surface slightly with water before applying the mortar in order to obtain a good bond. Another common way to seal cellar walls from the inside is to apply a commercially available cement-base paint to the walls. These paints are packaged in dry powder form and are mixed with water just prior to use. They are usually applied to wet concrete walls by using a stiff bristle brush so the cement paint is pushed into the pores of the masonry. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's directions for mixing and applying cement-base paints on cellar walls. You can also purchase a wide variety of latex and epoxy paints, which are formulated especially for waterproofing wet masonry walls. Before purchasing any of these paint products, make sure you read the instructions carefully. Some of these paints must be applied only to dry surfaces, whereas others can be applied to damp walls. Be sure the paint you select is designed for interior use below grade level on damp surfaces. A damp cellar may also be caused by condensation, which is formed when warm, moist air is cooled as it comes in contact with cold concrete walls or floors. Condensation is most common in spring and summer. You can test for condensation in your cellar by taping a small section of kitchen aluminum foil onto a masonry wall or floor of your cellar. Tape all four edges of the foil to seal out the air. Leave the foil in place for a few days, then carefully peel the foil off the wall. If the wall of cellar floor surface under the foil is dry, but the outer face of the foil is damp or has droplets of water on it, you have a condensation problem. The cure for condensation is to lower the amount of moisture in the air. This can be done by using a de-humidifier or by heating your cellar slightly. Or, you can insulate your cold water pipes and basement walls to prevent warm air from coming in direct contact with cold surfaces.
